Yes, Hello! - It's Party in the Park!
The Downtown Council, a division of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber joins presenting sponsors 96ROCK (96.5 fm / WFTK) and Bud Light for the 34th season of the Party in the Park series at Yeatman’s Cove along Cincinnati riverfront. Frequency 94.1 also is a media partner for the 2010 Party in the Park series.
The season kicks off Wednesday, April 21 with the Sullivan Janszen Band joining 96ROCK host Kuzin Vinny, who will serve as the official DJ at each event. Other 96Rock personalities, such as Tom Gamble, Fin, Sister Karen and JD will join Kuzin Vinny throughout the season to watch over and reward partiers with the ever coveted ‘free stuff’ all season long.
“Our weekends have ALWAYS started on Wednesdays anyway, so it just made perfect sense to take it the next level,” said Kuzin Vinny. “….and nothing personifies that ‘next level’ in Cincinnati better than Party in the Park.” A spokesman for the 96ROCK Department of Bigger and Better added: “Expect to party with your favorite bands AND get ready for a few surprises….”; at which point he yelled “Yes, Hello!” and disappeared behind a door marked ‘Beer and Music Room’.
So put a little weekend in your Wednesday and join 5,000 of your best friends down by the Serpentine Wall. It all starts Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Please note: Pets, (unless used for handicap assistance), bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, poles and sticks are prohibited in the event site during operating hours. No coolers, bottles, cans, alcoholic beverages or weapons can be brought into the event site.
